Grandma and Grandpa

Family Tree research is a passion of mine that started shortly after I had my son. I wanted to put together a book of information for him so that he would know his Mom’s family history. I also wanted to learn more about my Grandfather along the way. You see, my Grandpa died a year before I was born and it always made me very sad that I did not get to know him. I was hoping that researching his family line would bring me closer to him.
Along my journey I discovered my love for solving a good mystery. I realized that not only did I love learning about the history of my family but the history of other families too. It is just as exciting for me to solve a long standing mystery for a stranger as it is for myself. To be honest, I feel like most of the family histories I work on are more exciting than my own.
